Uncommon
Rides
For riders who would rather collect stories than souvenirs. Each January, the ranching families of Baja California Sur gather on the Pacific coast and cross the peninsula on horseback, following trails that connect two seas.
What began as a local tradition has become one of Baja's most remarkable journeys. Today, a small group of guest riders are invited to join them.

Not a tour.
A tradition.
This ride is designed for experienced riders seeking something beyond a traditional horseback vacation. You should be comfortable spending long days in the saddle, capable of handling a spirited horse in open terrain with confidence and soft hands, adaptable to changing conditions, and excited by the idea of sharing miles, meals, and stories with a small group of like-minded riders.
Many of our guests travel solo. Most arrive as strangers. Few leave that way.
